Pedro Pascal is a Chilean and American actor, who has starred in many well- known films such as Narcos, Game of Thrones, and The Last of Us. He has won the prestigious Screen Actors Guild Award and has been nominated for a Golden Globe and Emmy.
Pedro was born in Santiago, Chile on April 2nd, 1975. He was born into a very politically active family, but decided to move in a different career direction: acting. Due to his family’s ties to the socialist self- proclaimed far- left militant organization “Movement of the Revolutionary Left”, they were forced to flee Chile when a new government took over. After settling in the United States at age 11, he attended Orange County School of the Arts, and then later New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts”.
Pedro had smaller roles, as a starting actor in the mid 2000s, but then broke through to mainstream Hollywood in the mid 2010s until the height of his fame starting in 2023, when he starred in “The Last of Us”, which most people know him from, which projected him into the household name he is today.
